Ned Knight has been part of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Environmental Studies program since 1992. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees in zoology and fisheries, and a master’s in fisheries from Oregon State University, followed by a Ph.D. in ecology from the University of California, Davis.
Before joining Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Knight taught introductory biology labs at Reed College, where he covered a wide range of topics from 1986 to 2021. At Â鶹ÊÓƵ, he has developed and taught courses in environmental science, climate change, shoreline ecology and aquatic chemistry. He also teaches online courses in water and energy resources through Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Online and Continuing Education program.
