Every March in honor of Women's History Month, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ celebrates the vital role women have played in American history. We celebrate the character, courage and commitment among us.
Celebrate Women’s History Month at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ!
All month long:
- Check out the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Instagram (@linfielduniv) for highlights of incredible women in STEM.
- Stop by the Fred Meyer Lounge, the Walker Foyer, or the Keck Atrium to add your answer to our weekly reflective question board.
Lunch & Learn:
- Join us for a free lunch and viewing of the documentary Picture a Scientist,
- Thursday, March 6 from 12-1 p.m. in the nurses lounge, Portland Campus. Discussion and snacks to follow.
- Thursday, March 13 from 12-2 p.m. in Jonasson Hall, McMinnville Campus. Discussion to follow led by Professor Megan Bestwick.

Book club:
- Join the Women’s History Month Committee for a book club! This month we’ll be reading We Should All Be Feminists (64 pages) by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
- Stop by the Nicholson Library for a free copy to keep, provided by Friends of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Libraries.
- Attend our book club happy hour at the end of the month to chat about our reading and celebrate amazing women:
